Sorting thousands of items of food
Every year in May the Mail Carriers Union works with all the post offices in the city to collect canned food or nonperishable items that go to a non-profit. The Salvation Army was at the Summerlin post office with 6 Echelon members collecting food from mail trucks, counting, and organizing. We collected roughly roughly 10,500 pounds that will go to our client-choice food pantries in Henderson and Pahrump.
