Who We Are

Echelon is a diverse community of young adults collectively rising up to serve The Salvation Army through fellowship and networking, donations and fundraising, and service and volunteering.  Echelon was founded in 2010 in Dallas, Texas and has since become the National Young Adult Auxiliary of The Salvation Army.

The Echelon Louisville Chapter was officially established on March 16, 2015 and held its inaugural Board Meeting on May 12, 2015.  Echelon Board Members generally commit to one-year terms.

Evon Reeves

Executive VP

Evon is an Assistant to the Vice President of Information Technology at Kentucky Farm Bureau. She has been involved with the Louisville Community for over 15 years. For the past 2 years she served as Chair of Mountjoy Chilton Medleys Charitable Action Committee where she helped raise over $60,000 each year to benefit nonprofits in the tri-state area. She is actively involved with organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, The Salvation Army, Special Olympics, The Family Scholar House, St Joseph’s Home, and many others.

Jeremy Warf

Executive VP & Chaplain

Jeremy is a Louisville native and has worked for The Salvation Army in Facility Management for just under a year. He has four years of armed forces experience and holds a Bachelors Degree in Emergency and Disaster Management.

Gretchen Allred

VP Events

Gretchen is the Andy’s Outreach Fund Administrator with Andy’s Outreach/Texas Roadhouse. She was born and raised in Louisville and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Advertising from Murray State University. She started her career with Texas Roadhouse upon graduating college and has been with the company for three years. She is a HUGE sports fan and loves spending time with her furbaby (dog), Diego!

Andy Steitz

VP Fundraising

Andy has been employed with Messer Construction for the past 2 years as a Building Systems Engineer and currently resides in Oldham County. He is originally from St. Louis, MO and earned his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri.

Jillian Warf

VP Service

Jill has been employed with The Salvation Army for almost 7 years and currently serves as Administration Assistant/ Property Relations. Her educational background includes Child and Family Development and Early Childhood Care and Education.

Kris Hayden

Treasurer

Kris is a commercial lender for a local community bank (Republic Bank) and has been in the banking industry for nearly 11 years. He resides in Jefferson County with his wife, Wendy, and three children (twin 4 year olds and a 21 year old).

Dustin Weber

Secretary

A Kentucky native, Dustin has been involved in volunteer, outreach, and mission work on a local, national, and global scale from his teenage years to present. He believes in the power of teamwork and the truth that it is more blessed to give than to receive. In his leisure time, Dustin enjoys horseback riding, reading, and the outdoors.
