What We Do

Echelon Philadelphia is a progressive group of diverse young professionals with a heart to serve. We are committed to supporting the work of The Salvation Army in Philadelphia. We believe in meeting human needs regardless of religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status. Together, we have fun and empower one another through networking, fundraising, and volunteering.

Networking

Members enjoy social events such as concerts, sports games, happy hours and trips to museums. Echelon Philadelphia also organizes opportunities to connect with members of The Salvation Army Advisory Board and other local CEOs or executives who are willing to share their professional and philanthropic journeys.

Fundraising

Red Kettle Kickoff – Held annually in November at the start of the Christmas season, our kickoff is held every year at Christmas Village in Love Park.

Bell Ringing – This is an opportunity for Echelon members to collect donations that directly contribute to The Salvation Army's annual Red Kettle Campaign, which funds programs all year round.

Volunteering

Our volunteers are the army behind "The Army." Echelon members work directly with our city programs by preparing hot meals for the hungry, assembling hygiene kits for shelter residents, supporting projects for at-risk youth, and managing holiday toy distribution events.
