This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who wishes to support a valued Pittsburgh nonprofit while expanding their professional network.

Working in concert with the Advisory Board of Greater Pittsburgh, the objectives of The Salvation Army Echelon are to:

  • Raise awareness of The Salvation Army through event attendance, social media, and outreach;
  • Recruit volunteers in support of The Salvation Army’s Pittsburgh locations, with a concentration on family friendly volunteer opportunities
  • Organize events targeted towards emerging leaders in the Greater Pittsburgh region.

Structure

  • Leadership chairs (including President, Vice President, Social Media Chair and Social Chair), along with Salvation Army staff liaisons
  • Each member is expected to commit to a minimum one year term
  • Participate in at least three (3) service events
  • Invite at least two others to participate in networking and social events
  • Make a financial donation that is meaningful to me ($25 minimum)
  • Attend 75% of scheduled calls, social and service events
